The ALOS Z-Scan 45 is a complete compact desktop scanning system for microfilm, capable of scanning from both, positive and negative film formats. Images stored on microforms can be scanned and then acted upon like any other electronic documents. Using the document management software that is included with the Z-Scan 45, operators can view, scan, e-mail, fax, print, and network images stored on microfilm. This software provides tools for editing scanned images and includes features such as drag-and-drop simplicity. Scanned images can be saved in common electronic formats including multi-page TIFF and PDF.
